FROM THE FIRST MEETING TO THE FIRST SEMINARS

PolyRay was launched in 2003 by Christian Decker (Research Director at the Department of General Photochemistry, Mulhouse), following a Workshop of the European Federation of Polymers on the topic “Radiation polymerization”, in the spring of 2002 at the University of Paris VI by François Ganachaud and Jean-Pierre Vairon.

Polyray’s objectives were to (1) create an open club of members whose activities centered on polymerization under radiation and, (2) organize an annual scientific and technological meeting.
